Georgia World Congress Center Authority

This past weekend was the 2nd Annual Battle of the Deep South in Atlanta. The hospitality communities of Atlanta and New Orleans hosted customers who have their events in the two cities at the Georgia World Congress Center and Morial Convention Center. The event was held in New Orleans last year so the Atlanta crew had a great time showing off our city this time. 

The theme of the weekend was, of course, the great rivalry between the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints. The festivities kicked off with mingling on the balcony and then a draft party dinner in a private room at FAB-French American Brasserie. 

On Sunday, everyone enjoyed a tailgate party in Centennial Olympic Park’s Southern Company Amphitheater before heading to the big game at the Georgia Dome. 

The Saints won by a close 3 points concluding the fun weekend!
