This summer one of our employees, Adeola Sokunbi from the Georgia Dome sales team, had the opportunity to work with Coca-Cola in London during the Olympic Games. We have a special love for the Olympics on our campus, having played host in 1996! 

This is what Adeola had to say about her amazing experience:

This July, I had a chance to work with Coca-Cola during the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. The length of my assignment was for four weeks, which included orientation and training prior to the start of the Games.  My responsibility as Venue Operations Activator was to ensure the concessions in the Olympic Park were filled with Coke products while achieving Coca – Cola’s goal of “The Perfect Serve” at 4 degrees Celsius with 100% availability. What I enjoyed most about the trip was the people that I met along the way. My teammates came from all over the world, and we quickly bonded because we spent so much time together. Also, getting a  “behind the scenes” look at such a large scale event was a major learning experience for me that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
